ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø to play first baseball home game in over a decade
Gadsden, Ala. — The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø baseball team will take the field in its first home game since 2011. The Cardinals will play Snead State Community College at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Gadsden City High School baseball field.
Dr. Kathy Murphy, president of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, announced on April 18, 2022, that baseball and softball teams would once again be fielded at the College. The baseball and softball teams disbanded at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø in 2011 and 2016, respectively.
The baseball team is coached by Blake Lewis, who is also the athletic director at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø. He will be available for interviews following the game.
